Founded in 2010, DonationMatch was born from an entrepreneur’s firsthand experience volunteering at fundraising events. Our platform enables companies of all sizes to seamlessly donate their products and services to local causes—boosting both community impact and brand ROI.

Renee Zau

DonationMatch is the result of Renee Zau’s unique perspective as both a silent auction chair and a multi-unit franchisee managing regional marketing. Since 2003, she has volunteered with numerous nonprofit fundraising events each year, giving her firsthand insight into the inefficiencies and missed opportunities surrounding in-kind donations. It was during her time on auction committees that she recognized both the synergies and the challenges between donor companies and event organizers.

Renee’s mission with DonationMatch has always been clear: to create the win-win tool she wanted for PR and marketing—one that makes in-kind giving easier, more strategic, and more impactful to grow visibility and trust without draining time or resources.

In his 30+ years in IT, Darryl has built more business intelligence systems than he can count, helping companies small and large with risk exposure, financial reporting, operational efficiencies, performance management, and even costume reservations. He believes that behind all the technology, there's a person with a real problem to solve, and it's his job to help get it done.
